How to Find Serial Numbers on a Waukesha Cherry-Burrell PD Pump

Where Does SPX-Flow Put the Serial Numbers on PD Pumps?

Every Waukesha Cherry-Burrell pump has a identifying serial number. For Universal 1, Universal 2, and Universal 3 pumps, SPX-Flow puts this number in three locations:

• The Gear Case Nameplate
• The Pump Body
• The Pump Cover

The first place to check on every pump is the gear case for the nameplate. Not only does this nameplate provide the serial number, but it also provides the pump model, the date of production, and a QR code to scan for a digital manual.

My Serial Nameplate is Missing

On occasion, the nameplate might be unreadable or missing. Don't worry because SPX-Flow also stamps the serial number on the pump cover and the pump body. Check the top and bottom face of the pump cover and pump body.
