Identifying the serial number of your Waukesha Cherry-Burrell pump is incredibly important. For each Waukesha Cherry-Burrell pump, SPX-Flow creates a unique serial card. From the serial card, Nether Industries customer service can:
Every Waukesha Cherry-Burrell pump has a identifying serial number. For Universal 1, Universal 2, and Universal 3 pumps, SPX-Flow puts this number in three locations:
The first place to check on every pump is the gear case for the nameplate. Not only does this nameplate provide the serial number, but it also provides the pump model, the date of production, and a QR code to scan for a digital manual.
On occasion, the nameplate might be unreadable or missing. Don't worry because SPX-Flow also stamps the serial number on the pump cover and the pump body. Check the top and bottom face of the pump cover and pump body.
If the serial number still can't be identified, contact Nether Industries customer service.
